Preparing for an interview is stressful and exciting. Wouldn’t it be nice to know what our interviewer was going to ask us? Or, better yet, to have a list of answers lined up in our minds during the rapid Q & A session? What about having the hard questions already answered?

To help you prepare and ease the stress for your next interview, Employify.com collected the top ten most popular interview questions:

10. Tell me about yourself. While this is not a question, it is definitely a speaking point that is very difficult to answer at times. Is the interviewer looking for your career history? Gauging your personality? Or does he or she really want to know WHO YOU ARE? Take the safe and smart route and have a strong answer that involves your career, aspirations and a tad bit of personality.

9. Why are you looking to make a change? This question can be a hard one to answer "correctly." However, it is important to stay positive with your response. Never bad mouth a current or previous employer and always keep the details of a nightmare job to a minimum.

8. What do you know about this organization? Prior to the interview, you should have put on your research hat and dove into the organization’s website, caught up on their social media activity and read some articles about the company. Point out two or three specific things you've read and liked about the company. Your interviewer will be excited about a candidate who is excited about his or her company.

7. Why do you want to work for this organization? Think about this answer. You shouldn’t be interviewing with a company you don’t see yourself thriving in. As such, your vision of how you view your future at the organization should be your answer. Try to incorporate your answer to question 8 above.

6. Why should we hire you? Here is the time to point out your expertise/assets and how they align with the organizations needs.

5. Tell me about your dream job. Stay away from outrageous expectations such as a company Mercedes and vacations to Bali during holiday. Focus on generic and tie in the vision you painted in question 7.

4. Tell me about your ability to work under pressure. Some individuals thrive under pressure while others wouldn’t want to make this a habit. The best answer is the truth. Describe your abilities and what would enhance these outcome, such as a clear expectation or explanation.

3. If you were hiring a person for this job, what would you look for? Be sure to mention abilities and experiences that are needed and that you have!

2. What are your weaknesses? Most likely the hardest question to answer. Again, honesty is the only way to answer this question. Be sure to mention how you overcome these obstacles and make them strengths.

1. Do you have any questions for me? Always have a few questions prepared. These can come from the research about the organization or most specific to the position you are applying for. This is usually, however, not the time to ask about salary and vacation benefits.
